About Me
Well I thought it was about time I added a little bit about myself to this page…
I’m a 40-something wife and mum to one teenager and one pre-teenager, so to begin with that keeps me pretty active (mum’s taxi springs to mind!)
I qualified as a teacher at post-16 level this last summer and I teach literacy, numeracy and ICT at our local FE college on a claim only basis at the moment (that’s another story – see my first post on the blog).
I was previously a teaching assistant and with household income not very high, I decided to look for other ways of earning money.
I began with an MLM company selling aloe vera products, though I do very little with that particular business now and then I began selling second hand books on Amazon. I really enjoy this though the books seem to take over the house. I then found a UK greetings card company and loved their products so much that I sell them too – another set of boxes around the house 
!
Meanwhile I was always interested in the possibilities of Internet Marketing and was on several email lists, reading and gaining information from the likes of Mike Filsaime, Mike Litman, Avril Harper etc.
Finally at the end of 2008, when I was without permanent employment I knew that I needed to take the plunge into these waters and found Alex Jeffreys as a mentor.
Wow! What a difference that has made. The support from Alex and the rest of the students has been incredible and I have learnt so much in such a short time.
So follow me on my journey as I aim to reach high. But we all need support in this and each of us would not travel along that road without meeting, touching and being touched by the lives of others.

Felixstowe and the Port on a winter's afternoon. This view made me think about how we all need to reach high on this journey, but we need support to make us strong enough to lift our load.
