What can Mind Movies do for us?

The past few months have been a time of reflection:

  • What did I learn on Alex Jeffreys’ coaching course?
  • How can I put that into practice?
  • What else do I need to learn?
  • What area do I want to work in?
  • How can I get the information I need?
  • How can I stop myself getting overwhelmed by information overload?
  • How can I focus on my own goals? (Freudian slip there – I wrote gaols!)
  • I am sure that I am not the only one who has gone through these thoughts (and plenty others in the same vein).

As I learned more about Internet Marketing, through Alex’s coaching, my contacts with other students and general reading and observation, I found myself focussing more on why I was doing this.

I came to the conclusion that it was because I was sick and tired of all the struggling in my life, that I knew I was capable of more and that my life (and that of my family) could and should be so much better.

So what has been holding me back?

After all I am an educated, intelligent person. I am honest and hardworking. Why have I had to cope with so many difficult situations relating to finance, work, family etc?

I deserve better and I certainly want more freedom in my life than I have had until now.

So I have been looking into the power of my own mind and those things which have held me back. I have been reading about the Law of Attraction and other related subjects.

Although there is so much to learn and try out in these areas, one thing that I have realised is the power of our mind is so great if it is correctly channelled.

There are many diferent ways of doing this and one is through the use of written affirmations.

I have to admit that I have struggled with this, so I was looking for something else that would help me to focus my mind and to use its power to achieve those things that I was aiming for.

I had heard about Mind Movies through Amanda van der Gulik and her Teaching Children about Money website (as many of you know this is the area that I am working in now).

I hadn’t really done much about it, but she emailed me recently that Mind Movies were doing a new launch and were giving away six pre-made Mind Movies. I decided that I had nothing to lose and since I have started working with Amanda I trust her judgement.

Well I went to have a look at what was on offer and I was really excited by what I saw and by the possibilities it presented.

I downloaded the pre-made Mind Movies and began looking at them regularly. Now not all of the images and words in these pre-made versions will suit us all, but they are written and designed to touch many aspects of our lives and there will be something for everyone. If you want to see these pre-made movies for yourself then check them out here.

By looking at these pre-made movies I have been thinking about what I wanted to put into my own movie(s) and so far I have come up with some things, but I know that there are plenty more to come – after all I want the best for my life and that of my family.

Mind Movies has just reopened and so I have bought the information on how to make my own Mind Movie. This includes $2000 worth of bonuses which are really good – including Amanda’s pre-made Mind Movies for Kids and a free upgrade to the next version of Mind Movies when it comes out later on (though this is a limited offer).

There are some other upsells with this package, including 7 Secrets to Happiness by Natalie one of the Mind Movies team and Lynda Dyers’ How To Series of videos, which I have also purchased. Finally there is the option of the coaching course, which I haven’t currently taken because I am doing other coaching at the moment and need to concentrate on one thing at a time!

There is a 30 day trial to Subliminal Success Accelerator which can be cancelled before payment begins. This allows you to watch the Mind Movies in the background of your normal desktop view. You can continue to work as normal whilst it is running, but you can adjust both the sound and opacity levels to suit your own working environment.

I tried this out this morning with one of the pre-made movies (as I haven’t yet made my own). It is a really excellent way of keeping images, thoughts, words and sounds (if you want) in front of you without having to stop and look at something else. We recognise the power of subliminal images, so this is a great way of putting our own images in front of us, instead of being bombarded with negative and other unwanted images from outside. You can set up several movies which can be left to run all day if you want to, just turning up to full viewing at the beginning and ending of the day (or whenever you want to).

There is plenty in this package to keep me occupied for a long while and as it helps me to achieve my goals (and keep me out of the gaols of negativity, self doubt etc.) I know that it will be worth it.

However I need to take ACTION. Last night I read Gary Simpson’s new ebook: The Internet Marketing Mindset – How to Program YOUR ‘Newbie’ Mindset For Internet Marketing Success.”

Well, as I commented on Gary’s blog he has been reading my mind again. This is so much in tune with where I am at the moment. I urge you to go and download it as there is so much great information in there, as ever. Then do leave Gary a comment once you have taken advantage of his generosity in giving away this ebook.

Without action, all our reading, looking, and imagining will remain just that – dreams.

So to keep myself on track I have decided that I will post regularly here about how I am progressing with both the MindMovies and the other upsells I have purchased.

I would love you to help keep me on track with this by following my journey and subscribing to my RSS feed for new updates. Please feel free to comment on this and if anyone else purchases this Mind Movies creation kit let me know how you are getting on with it too.

I am sure that by using this tool well I will start to achieve my goals – Amanda van der Gulik says that since she started using Mind Movies last year she has achieved 3/4 of hers and there are plenty of other testimonials from people who have used this method.

After all if Frank Kern has used this method to help him achieve his success then I’m sure that Mind Movies can do this for us too!

      Hi Hilary,

First I must apologise that I haven’t been here more often. I have been ridiculously busy since I returned from the Las Vegas Internet Marketing seminars. Plus I have had to deal with a most unsavoury incident that happened within my business while I was away.

Also, please extend my (hmm what am I gonna call this?) “tough love” approach to Lizzie the Lizard. She’s a good girl but she needs to take more notice of good advice when it is given. Then again, all kids think they know it all.

It reminds me of a saying I heard once, “I’m not young enough to know EVERYTHING!”

      Moving right along…

Thanks so much for the nice comment above. I DO appreciate it. Very much.

I’m off to have a look at the Mind Movie stuff. I expect that I will probably like it coz I am a BIG fan of creating a good mental picture of an outcome that I want. I have studied Psycho Cybernetics and the Secret (you probably already know how incomplete I think that is) and the brilliant information of Shad Helmstetter.

OK, give Lizzie a little kiss for me and tell her I am not really such a meanie – I just want her to learn.

      Best Wishes

      Gary Simpson

      Hi Hilary,

Firstly, excellent post here and wow… this mind movie thing sounds really interesting – I think I will take a look at it soon after I battle my keyboard to finish off my ebooks.

Thanks for recommending and on a different note, I think you have highlighted some great questions at the beginning in regards to what we learnt from Alex and how we can apply it.

I too have been reflecting a lot and I think, what Alex has taught us, has already been applied into our mindset, and although we may not yet fully applied it, but the beginning has already begun and that is…

We are striving to create a better future for ourselves and those who we love around us dearly, but we also understand that in order to achieve this, we must take action and not be deterred by difficulties along the way, no matter how small, large, hard or impossible it may seem. That there is always light at the end of the tunnel and that we have a wonderful community and many others who we have yet to meet, who will support us, everyone and anyone who joins us on this wonderful journey and opportunities.

I could go on, but I think I best leave it at that as I don’t want to be seem waffling
      jargon.

All the best and kindest regards
      Nigel

      Hi Gary

Thanks for dropping by – sorry I have been somewhat occupied this week by a full day of sorting out yet more of my elderly aunt’s stuff (talk about physical and mental clutter which I now feel with all of this) and a day in college finishing off work for my eSkills for eLearning course. As a teacher I also have to record all of my Continuing Professional Development (CPD) in order to retain my teaching status.

The eSkills has been a great course which has tied in with what I have learned on this Internet Marketing journey and has given me many useful ideas and resources for both my physical teaching job (getting ready for next term!) and hopefully the teaching I can do through my own site eventually.

It seems that we all have huge amounts of things to do and I am sorry to hear about your difficult situation. I was away at the weekend with my son whilst he was playing in a chess competition. This gives plenty of sitting around time, so I used it to catch up with some resources I had bought but not previously looked at properly.

The conclusion that I have come to more and more recently is that there is so much information around that I really have to be selective about what I buy, read and use. Many of the areas which are covered so often by the “big names” are not really those areas that I am looking to move into, so although it is useful to know what is happening in general, I do not need to get involved with these things personally.

It has taken me a while to reach this conclusion in my heart whilst my head has been telling me this for a long while. However I know what I am like and so I have to go through the exploration process. If I skip it I will always be wondering if I should have looked at it further.

So now I have made my decision – stick to what I want to do – focus on it and use all the support I can to reach my goals. I shall reread books I have found helpful, including your ebook, I shall work through other coaching materials and make my own MindMovies.

I have lots to do, especially now it is the school holidays, but a little and often will get me to where I know I should be and want to be.

So thank you for your support in this – I really appreciate it.

I also know that Lizzie appreciates it too. Sometimes it is difficult to listen to family (especially when they are not as good at it themselves as they should be!) so we have talked about the support that you have given her.

She is like me in that she has to get to somewhere at her pace, but when she finds what she wants, she will work hard at it. I will be supporting her as much as I can during the school holidays to really move forward and learn. And she knows that you are not a meanie…

      Thanks.

      Hi Nigel

I had meant to reply to you straight after Gary but the calls of mum’s taxi took over!

Thanks for your reply. I am someone who takes my time to make decisions about what I feel is right for me, yet I felt that the MindMovies programme was so right for me.

      Like you I feel that

We are striving to create a better future for ourselves and those who we love around us dearly

We must continue to learn but take action too so the support of everyone is really important in this. We are individuals and all do things in our own ways but thanks so much for your support.

I hope that your ebooks will soon be finished and I look forward to reading them. I will try to chart my journey with MindMovies here on a regular basis, so feel free to see how I am getting on.

The Law of Attraction, while it sounds mysterious is not that hard to understand. Ask and you will receive is basically it. I, too looked at the Mind Movie currently out, however I had a problem with giving over my energy for some one else’s dreams. It gave me bad vibes.
So instead I used Microsoft Power Point to make mine and it was very easy to do. It came out beautifully. I have had great success with manifesting and I never had to do anything but ask and receive. The problem I have with people making money off things like Mind Money software is they are really making money off and idea instead of manifesting their reality.
On a positive note it did give me the idea to make one of my own which I do like. When I had great success in the past I just made my lists and said my affirmations. Follow my twitter and I will give info simply and freely.
      Peace,
      Erika

      Hi Erika

Thanks for leaving a comment about making your own mindmovie on PowerPoint. I think that it is a great idea to do that and it is certainly something that most people can do easily.

I made the decision to purchase the MindMovies software because of the other information and support that I could receive through it as well. One of the things I have learned is to not try to do everything myself, but to use the skills of others to help me move forward.

I am proficient in using PowerPoint and so could do that myself. I think that it is a great idea for some people to do it that way and hope that anyone reading this can use that method if they feel it is right for them.

I do not have the same thoughts as you do about giving out my energy or other people making money off the idea, but I do understand what you are saying and I think that we must each choose what is right for us at the time and in our current circumstances.

I’m really pleased to hear about your success. I am just beginning with this and intend being successful too.

      Thanks

      Hilary

      Hilary,
Great Post. I feel the same as you do. I have been re-learning everything we learned with Alex. I have taken my site and completely revamped it (Still getting it to where I want it). I also have branched out a little in the fields I already know and love. I have been coaching people in sales and life for a long time now so I figured I could help more by branching out a little.

I will definitely look at the mind movies, it sounds cool. I have a set of inspirational movies on my Itouch from the secret, I watch them many times a day. If I could add to that it would be great.

I also want to create these kinds of images to offer to others. I would like to suggest you check out http://www.realmindpowersecrets.com/?vip=13523 if you get a chance. I became a part of this a long time ago and still listen to the info at night before I go to sleep. It is some great stuff.

I like Gary have to apologize for not stopping over more often. I will be correcting that starting today.

Please let me know what you think of the site.

On another note. Check your post, I am seeing the code around your banner. I am running firefox if that helps at all.

Once again Thanks for the great posts and the work you do

      Hi Thom

Thanks for popping over – I did have a look at your site after your comment on Gary’s blog and signed up for your newsletter.

I’ll go over to the http://www.realmindpowersecrets.com/?vip=13523 site and have a look. I’ll let you know what I think.

I know that I have ended up signing up for too many lists, bought too many things and am paying for membership sites etc I am not using, so my task this week is to sit down and simplify before I sign up for those things I really want to be a part of which will move me forward where I want to go.

Thnaks for mentioning about the code around the banner. I know it is there – I spent some time trying to fix it, but in the end I decided to put it up as it is. If anyone can help me with that I will be grateful!

I think I need to get Linda Carroll & her daughter to help me with a new look site and all of these issues! I’ll add it to my list of clear-up things to be done!

      Good to see you Thom.

Thanks for the reply. I really like the mind movies and have signed up also. Have to take more time and really watch them. I really love the idea of putting these kinds of movies together.

If you ever need help with coding or with the type of problem as you did above, let me know, I am a pretty good HTML Coder.

Anything I can do to help please ask.

      Thanks again.

I don’t know if that helps, pretty easy fix

      Thanks again

      Hi Thom
Thanks for all your comments – good to see you here.

I have signed up for Real Mind Secrets – I can see there is lots of great stuff there and it is going to take me some time to work through it, but I shall see how that all goes and record that too.

Let me know how you get on with the Mind Movies. At the moment I am working through the first parts of the information and am still using the 6 premade movies.

I have some holiday coming up so I hope to spend some time working on my own movie and helping my family to make theirs too.

Thanks also for looking at my source code. I’m not quite sure what you mean so perhaps you could email me with the info. Thanks

      Hilary
